Simply by going to your local mobile phone shop you can check out all of the phones in person and find one that’s truly best for you instead of just going by a picture and one paragraph of a description. In doing this, you are certain to save yourself a lot of money that would otherwise go into replacing phones too often. Not only can it save you money by going to a mobile phone shop to see your possibilities, but often times mobile phone shops will even offer price matches and match other competitors prices if you bring them to the representatives attention.

Another great thing about knowing where mobile phone shops are is the ability to know that you can have your phone repaired. These people actually know one hundred percent what they are doing as well as are trust worthy when left with your phone and often more inexpensive especially when finding mobile phone shops London style. With so many mobile phone shops London located, there is a great deal of benefit that comes along with knowing where and what they are.

Motorola A1600 touchscreen phone has now a Gold edition in partnership with the French jeweler and watch maker Cartier. The design is identical with the other Motorola MING devices, while the item wearing the Cartier name is the business card holder from the sales package. Lately several cell phones gold editions are spawning, some of them acceptable while other are very kitschy looking dues to the crocodile skin or the jewelery. Is there a heard of cell phone addict millionaires on the loose?

The Motorola A1600 Gold looks have not suffered any major changes, other than the new shiny colors. On the specs side, nothing is added to the 2.4-inch 262K color QVGA touchscreen display, the same Linux based OS, 3 megapixel camera and the built-in GPS receiver which allows both real-time GPS navigation and geotagging of the photos taken with the built-in camera. Curiously, Motorola phone division seems to be getting out of the financial crisis. If Gold editions might save Motorola, then good luck Motorola! If you are interested in Motorola A1600, the device is already available for purchase, costing about 685 euro (865 US dollars), unfortunately only on the Chinese site of the company and not featuring 3G capabilities.
The matching name (Sany Ericssan ) is no coincidence either though we think they could be guilty of misspelling.

The A8000i model has a 2.9-inch regular screen (non-touch) and a regular numeric keypad slides out from the side. Curiously there’s an 8 MP camera at the back with some sort of zooming capability. You know the Sany Ericssan A8000i is a Smartphone because of the VAIO branding at the back so perhaps it could be smarter than most Smartphones.

Strategic advantages Sany Ericssan holds over Sony Ericsson:

    * A quarterly sales volume measured in the hundreds is considered a rousing success.
* Neither Sany nor Ericssan have any intention of pulling out of the joint venture.
* “Outsourcing” of industrial design saves time, money, and staff.
* None of those pesky Windows Mobile licensing fees to worry about.
* GPRS data speed isn’t a problem — it’s a way of life.

The Nokia press release on Friday shows a grim prediction: the world’s mobile phone market would fall in the fourth quarter and next year as an economic slowdown crimps consumer demand around the world. Nokia now expects fourth-quarter industry volumes to be around 330 million mobile devices, down from a year ago, and well below the 346 million average forecast in a Reuters poll earlier this month.

1.24 billion phones would be sold worldwide this year, down from a previous estimate of 1.26 billion, and handset market volumes and the overall telecommunications equipment market was expected to fall next year. The worst financial crisis in 80 years has weakened economies around the world and official data on Friday showed the economy of the 15-nation euro zone shrank for the second quarter in a row.

The HTC MAX 4G can be classified as the 4`th generation mobile phones (4G) that combines the voice, high speed data transfers and multimedia content support. HTC MAX 4G is custom made for the Rusian network to enable the Yota TV broadcast service ( 14 FREE TV channels and 23 until end of this year) and Yota Music (a catalog with more than 50.000 records).

The LG Chocolate 3 is a slim flip phone, measuring 48.5 mm x 98.5 mm x 16.4 mm at only 98 grams. When it comes to features, LG has nothing impressive, other than its overall classy looks: 1GB internal memory ( expandable trough 8GB microSD cards), 3.5mm headset jack, a 2 megapixel camera with video recording support, a 2.2 inches QVGA main display and 1.45 inches external one plus Stereo Bluetooth.

Clearly, the LG Chocolate GiG is targeted at the music focused teenagers that never got a chance to purchase the previous versions of the Chocolate line-up. Coming as a music/fashion phone for the masses, the price for GiG goes up to 99$ with a 3 year subscription and 299$ for a 1 year contract.

The new touchscreen enabled phone coming from RIM should even the balance and steal some of Apple’s fans.

The analysis firm found that touch screens, which the iPhone is famous for, proved to be the most popular design feature among users considering their future mobile usage of applications such as playing music, maps and web browsing. Nokia has lost some of its market share because it has been slow in integrating touch screens to its product line.

Apple shipped more than 6.8 million iPhones during the third quarter of 2008 to give it a market share of 17.3 %. RIM shipped just over six million BlackBerry phones in the quarter for a 15.2 % share of a market that saw more than 39 million phones shipped overall.

Apple leapfrogged both RIM and Motorola from a year ago to take the number two spot, behind Nokia Corp. Nokia shipped more than 15.4 million Smartphones in the quarter for a market share of 38.9 %, but saw its leadership position take a big dip from 51.4 % a year ago.
