Firmware 2.2 is now available
If you are the proud owner of an iPhone 3G and want to update to the latest firmware version (2.2), you should be aware what to expect from it. This free update improves the navigation functionality with Google Street View, Public transit and walking directions and Share location via email.
Also the Safari browser has been a subject for enhancement, the new updated version brings improved stability and performance of Safari. The e-mail service has not been forgotten, the isolated issues with scheduled fetching of email are resolved and the formatting of wide HTML email is improved.
The 2.2 Software brings the Podcasts available for download in iTunes application (over Wi-Fi and cellular network) and least but not last, the ability to turn on/off auto-correction in Keyboard Settings
