iPhone 3G production decreased
Pacific Crest analysts mentioned that Apple decreased the iPhone production until the end of this year, ordering 14 to 15 mil iPhone 3G units.
Most likely these units will be highly valued on the market, especially that the winter season is very near. Pacific Crest also reveals that the 8Gb version should remain the most popular one since the iPhone 8Gb version tends to be more rare among the Apple stocks.
Obviously, the lack of the 8GB model can only suggest that a new iPhone version is about to be launched, the 32GB version. This situation is similar to the one a year ago, when Apple stopped the iPhone 4Gb model production to allow the 8Gb version to capture the buyers attention.
Anyway, the 16GB version is available in most stores, because the Apple potential buyers don’t value the extra 8GB, the most considered version being the cheaper one.
