Levi’s The Original

Levi’s introduced in March “The Original” phone, starring a beautifully crafted high quality stainless steel casing. The phone is not fully manufactured out of steel, the speaker area is covered in soft plastic. Levi’s The Original features list is not very impressive, the screen is rather small and has a low resolution, camera is average and 3G is out of the question.

It is obvious that owning such phone is a exclusive design statement. The cell phones are manufactured by ModeLabs using a Samsung platform, the strong point of the Levi`s cell are the steel casing and the chain that allows wearing the phone skateboarder wallet style.

Tech-talks

The slim profile handset measures only 96 x 55 x 11mm and it weights 98 grams. Displaying a small resolution (220 x 176 pixeli), the 1.8 Inch TFT is capable of 256k colors and it should not be the main reason for you purchase this phone. The 2.0 megapixels camera supporting multi-shoot sessions and and featuring an auto timer is also mediocre.

Levi’s The Original has a Li-Ion battery, 780 mAh, offering 3.5 h of talk time and 200h of stand by. The Original supports microSD memory cards to extend the internal memory the features list including also a FM radio, image editor and stereo Bluetooth 1.2 A2DP connectivity. The recommended price is $250.
