No-key Nokia X-SIM
Here is an interesting solution for unlocking several Nokia cell phones (no hacking nedeed): No-key Nokia X-SIM. This is a special SIM card that unlocks the phone, making it usable in all available networks. The X-SIM manufacturer is OneStopChina and they tested their product on several recent Nokia models: E65, N73, N95, N95 8GB, 6500 etc. No-key Nokia X-SIM costs only $31.69.
This is similar to the iPhone TurboSIM, and the idea behind X-SIM is based on the fact that all cell phones operate using an ID system. The handset checks that the SIM fits the carrier specifications and unlocks itself. X-SIM sends a signal to the Nokia mobile, emulating the original SIM card, so that there is no need for the mobile phone to unlock itself, allowing the user to select one of the available networks. This unlock system does not affect the warranty.
