Tech-talks
When it comes to letting you enjoy all of the photos and music that can be packed into 4GB microSD card (not included), the 5610 XpressMusic has you covered. Your photos will look great on the 2.2″, 16 million color QVGA (240×320 pixel) display. Music can be enjoyed through wired or wireless stereo headphones thanks to built-in Bluetooth A2DP support. Sadly, though, the 5610 XpressMusic lacks the 3.5mm headphone jack that its slimmer brother, the 5310, offers.
The Nokia 5610 XpressMusic uses 3G technology, making downloads, web-browsing and video calls faster and easier. The Nokia 5610 XpressMusic is expected to begin shipping in the fourth quarter of 2007 with an estimated retail price of EUR 300 before taxes and subsidies.

does is do justice to its price?
I`ve been using 5610 for a couple of months and al can say is: GREAT PHONE. Audio quality and camera are great
i wntd 2 buy this fone its for INR 13,300 is tht a gud price n r der prblems wid da fone
The Nokia 5610 handset is definetely worth the its quoted price tag…the highlight of the phone is its camera(3.2 MP) which apart frm reproducing great colours in the snaps also captures video at a frame rate of 30fps.
the lcd screen is capable of displaying 16M colours…needless to say the on screen display n video playback is nothing short of amazing!
As far as Music quality goes this phone takes a berth in the league of SE walkman series…sound reproduction may not be better than the high-end SE phones but definitely best when pitted against other Nokia models(including N series)!
Nokia could have done wonders with this piece if they had provided a better headphone with the package…it sucks to say the least!(i wud suggest u better get urself a spare SE headphone to get a better listening experience)
the phone suffers frm an uncanny problem of ‘Freezing’ when u get a message or a call in the midst of audio playback but that can now b easily rectified by dowloading the latest Firmware updates frm the Nokia website.
Stylish design n decent slider…if u wanna have a nice overall experience of getting crisp images n decent sound quality without making a hole in ur pocket(price ranges frm 12800 to 13500) then go for it!!
Video is shot @ 15 fps
yes it doesn’t has a 3.5mm audio jack but the sales package comes with a 2.5mm headset that can be inserted with a 3.5mm audio jack… so that i can enjoy the music in a bigger speaker.
great phone … long last battery … excelent pics & sound !
The thing I hate the most about Nokia phones is that, it hangs when there are a lot of pictures and tracks, making it slow. Am i up against this problem? Also, when taking pictures, does it take a while before it snaps one? Lastly, don’t you guys think that the Music Slider key will get broken easily? I’d really appreciate your help! THANK YOU
Can you set one of your personal ringtones of choice as the message tone on this phone?
And how loud is the sound?
i would really like to know. Thankyou :). x
In my opinion this phone has unresolved issues. On playback it has an uncanny tendency to make crackles and small pops. I know that this was a problem with a previous firmware release, but as for me this is still the case(currently i am using ver. 04.81). The crackles seem to appear sporadically, and I experience intervals lasting over minuts with clear sound. Frankly it’s driving me bloody crazy!
I have read that it might be related to the formatting of my microSD card. So i uploaded a song to the phones memory with no result. I have even changes my headphones and converter bit (2.5 to 3.5mm).
Any suggestions whould be most welcome.
Thanks
its sexy ph…. but only where m disappointed is tht.. its tooooooooooo delicate… i hardly drop my ph… yt all the parts r comin out… don knw fr wt!! nokia sucks in quality of the built while they r givin good sound, good cam….
