Nokia 5700 XpressMusic

Although Nokia 5700 XpressMusic is a SmartPhone, it doesn`t feature state of the art advanced technology; instead it differentiates itself from the competition with a unique twist design that. Twisting the phone`s keypad enables one of the four different positions, each allowing easier access to a specific function of the phone. When the phone is in camera mode, the joystick and control keys are difficult to be reached.

We also noticed the lack of the 3,5 mm audio jack (5700 has support for 2.5mm headphones and an adapter for the 3.5mm headphones comes in the sales package), but who needs this when stereo Bluetooth and also stereo speakers are included. When it comes to audio quality, Nokia 5700 can keep up the pase with any competitor and also the player is more than decent and intuitive. The phones is well balanced, the mono block design phone feels good in the palm of the hand and the twist motion comes naturally.

Tech-talks

The music player is very manageable in order to gain the best sound quality using the built in equalizer, stereo widening, balance and loudness features. The FM radio benefits also from visual radio feature which allows listening to the favorite music and interacting with the favorite radio stations. The FM tuner requires the headphones or some external speakers to be plugged in to act as the aerial.

Nokia 5700 uses the robust S60 platform (Symbian v9.2, UI3.1) allowing tons of third party applications to be installed. The Video quality on the built-in player is excellent, and should provide stiff competition for third party players. Nokia 5700 comes with an innovative cool design and presents a reliable and user friendly phone, that is worth spending around 300 Eur.
