Nokia 5800 ExpressMusic preview
The mystery phone presented in Batman: The Dark Knight, raised several questions. The rumors regading the first Nokia touchscreen Smartphone are vanished, unofficial announcements state that Nokia 5800 ExpressMusic should be in the stores by the end of this year. The price should be around 279 Euro before taxes.

October 2`nd 2008 is the day when officially launched the long waited multimedia gadget Nokia 5800 XpressMusic a.k.a Nokia Tube. Although a leader in mobile communications, Nokia did not rushed to launch a touchscreen multimedia phone.
Nokia 5800 XpressMusic is definitely the news of this week. The Finnish giant presents an advanced multimedia device with a more than a bundle of Internet or business applications. Using the Symbian S60 platform, the latest 9.4 versions has been enhanced for touchscreen displays.

The multimedia side of the phone is obvious due to the 3.2 inch and 360 x 640 pixels touchscreen display. Nokia 5800 present in premiere the Media Bar menu, optimized for tactile interaction, to rediscover the audio-foto-video-Internet experience. Switching trough the viewing modes portrait/landscape is automatically performed thank to a accelerometer, such a trendy feature nowadays.

The photo camera has 3.2 MP CMOS sensor, however it benefits of Carl-Zeiss lens and autofocus. Nokia 5800 is promoted as a music phone, therefore on the music side there are available several functions and features: stereo speakers, 3,5 mm jack, Stereo Bluetooth support, 8 GB microSD card included in the sales package, advanced music player and equalizer, audio codecs for all known formats.
