Nokia 6210 Navigator
Nokia announced the next version of the Nokia Navigator. The same slider form factor used for the Nokia 6110 Navigator will be used for the new member of the Navigator series. Measuring only 14.9 mm in thickness, Nokia 6210 Navigator continues the Nokia GPS phones line.
Drawing its roots from Nokia 6220 (the smallest Nokia SmartPhone) and Nokia 6110 Navigator, Nokia 6210 Navigator will feature HSDPA capabilities, GPS module, 120MB of internal storage and 3.15 megapixels camera. 6210 main feature will be the navigation capability, so Nokia will ship in the box a 1 Gb microSD card with maps for the Maps 2.0 and A-GPS applications. More than that, a compass and an accelerometer will be added to the features list.
Nokia seems very decided to byte a big piece of the GPS devices market pie. The fight will not be an easy one and we shall be witnesses to this starting with the moment of the shipping date: in Q3 this year. The announced price for Nokia 6210 Navigator is $450 (300 Eur).
