Nokia 6500 Classic

A couple of months ago, Nokia restated its interest for the third generation of mid-range phones, by revealing to the public the Nokia 6500 classic and Nokia 6500 slide. Created for easy handling, with large keyboards and ergonomic shapes, both phones are created around the “maximum accessibility” concept.

Besides third generation WCDMA technology and classy and fashionable design, the Nokia 6500 classic is incredibly compact and perfectly balanced, being easily recognizable by its aluminum mono block casing. Nokia 6500 classic is not exactly a classic phone, instead it is a declaration of the passion for details, materialized in an ultra slim product (9,5 mm).

The attention for details is found also inside the phone; using the S40 interface, this quad-band phone offers easy access to its set of features: 1GB on-board memory, the Nokia regular 2-megapixel camera, 3G dual-band for high speed web access and the integrated music player.

Being less than 1 cm thick, it is not a surprise that Nokia 6500 classic has no external buttons, not even the On/off button. The only external element is the micro USB used for all three types of connections: headset, charging the phone and data cable. In terms of pricing, Nokia 6500 does not come cheap, but it is worth spending a little over 300 Eur ($400).
