Nokia N73
Once with the second N series wave, Nokia has launched in 2006 the N73 model. Next in line to N70, N73 comes as an upgrade to the reminded model, with a fresh new slimmer look and reliable firmware. Nokia N73 aims at the business segment and also at the high tech demanding users. Coming this year in several carriers special offers (less than 200 Eur), N73 is a compact and lightweight Symbian phone that brings SmartPhone technology into the mainstream.
Using the Symbian 9.1 platform, N73 comes in the same conventional boxy design with a regular keypad very similar to the N70. The slide cover and the back side of the phone are made of plastic, however, this is a minor drawback when considering the print quality photos.

Tech-talks
At the heart of N73 is the advanced 3.2 Megapixel Carl-Zeiss autofocus lens which outperforms the other Symbian OS S60 phones (N80 camera also fades as compared to the Nokia N73`s camera), however N73 doesn’t perform quite as well as the Sony Ericson 3 megapixel Cybershot camera. The 2.4 Inch with an amazing 240 x 320 pixel resolution and 256k colors display is also one the phone`s selling points and one of the best displays on any Smartphone.
Nokia N73 features a decent music player with playlists support and an equalizer that lets you adjust sound quality. Sound is through dual stereo speakers or using the stereo headset supplied, unfortunately N73 does not include stereo Bluetooth support. Overall, Nokia N73 is a capable and worthy of considering phone, particularly as there are now good offers with most of the GSM carriers.
