The news that a diamond version of Nokia N95 is out on the market is not shocking in any way, what comes as a big surprise is the fact that the looks of this N95 with upgraded casing have degraded, the device looks even bulkier than the original and the word used to characterize the device is ‘cheep’.
The luxury edition has a Sterling silver panel encrusted with 4.42 carats naturally mined diamonds. This Continental Mobiles product costs no less than 10,000 GBP – the equivalent of $19,735 or 12,586 Euros. The Nokia N95 Diamond Edition hides the same nice features packed by Nokia in the original version.
For this kind of money (33 3G iPhones worth !!!!) there will definetly be enough rich people that won’t mind the Nokia N95 Diamond edition looks. Unfortunately, this shows us that diamonds are not always a symbol for elegance, in this case, used to improve the looks of a handset, the effect is exactly opposite.
