Samsung G400 Soul
Samsung recently added a new member to the SOUL (Spirit Of Ultra) series: an intriguing design clamshell cell phone. Samsung has overseen lately the clamshell design and now it tries to make up for it by launching a highly fashionable device loaded with all the hi-tech ‘goodies’ one can imagine. As usually Samsung has not yet announced a price for the attractive clamshell, but the price range should be in the $420 - $470, before taxes and subsidies.
In premiere, Samsung G400 benefits of 2 identical displays, both measuring 2,2 Inch, the exterior one is fully touch operated and besides displaying the phone’s system notifications, it also allows the user access to the multimedia features: FM radio, player, camera and photo viewer. The external TFT provides short vibrations feedback when touched.

Samsung G400 Soul comes equipped with a 5 megapixel autofocus camera that comes with real camera-like features: face recognition, WDR Wide Dynamic Range optimization (for improving the pics taken in artificial light environments) and image stabilization. Regarding the connectivity, G400 benefits of 7.2Mbps HSDPA support with video calls, Bluetooth, and USB.
Although the glossy metallic casing, the ULTRA slim design and the generous bundle of features could position G400 in top market segment, the lack of the Wi-Fi modem will place it between the high end models and the mainstream.
