Samsung D600

Launched in Q2 2005, Samsung D600 is the update to the company`s hugely popular D500. Except some subtle changes to the design it shares the same form factor with its predecessor, the same soft touch slide up design, making it appealing to multiple market segments. D600 clearly addresses any shortcomings with the D500.

Samsung D600 is not a Smartphone and can not be compared with one, third-party applications are limited, however, D600 is simply the best and we rate as one of top handsets in 2005.

Tech-talks

D600 is very similar in appearance to the D500: same black exterior and slider form factor, the phones navigation tool & function keys allow the user to operate features when the phone is in its slide closed position, however the big brother D600 offers enhanced features like a 2 megapixel camera, stereo bluetooth and a memory card. D600 is no longer a casual music player, but a real replacement to your iPod.

Samsung D600 will win you over with the high pixel density QVGA display which goes a long way towards setting the D600 apart from its older brother, making a crisp and clear image. The d-pad navigation control is very accurate and offers a solid tactile feedback.
