Samsung D780 Duos

While Samsung D880 DuoS is definitely a high-end dual-SIM device, the new stylish tri-band Samsung D780 Duos aims at the mid-range market segment. Coincidence or not D780 shares the same functions with Samsung P240 a dual-Sim low-end cell phone ready to be launched in Rusia.

Since P240 and D780 are so much alike who can tell which is the low-end model an which is the mid-range one? The Armani-like Samsung P720 dual-SIM phone was cancelled by Samsung. Nevertheless, more Duos models are expected to hit the shelves soon and also Windows Mobile OS is wanted for the DUOS models..

Samsung D780 will cost 270 Euros and will feature a 2 megapixels camera with video recording capabilities, 2.1 inch QVGA display capable of showing up to 256K colors , stereo Bluetooth, FM radio and microSD card slot to expand the internal memory.

Coming to expand the Duos family, Samsung strengthens its dual SIM lineup to approach this market with cheaper dual SIM card phones. As a statement to the previous sayings, the Samsung D780 Duos main selling point is its dual-SIM functionality and will be powered by the same 1200mAh battery used in the Samsung D880 Duos.
