Samsung Instinct
Apple iPhone meets more and more competitors, recently Sprint network and Samsung launched an iPhone alternative: Samsung Instinct (Samsung SPH M-800). The new device combines the touch screen functionality with wireless Wi-Fi capabilities for high speed internet access.
At first glance, Samsung Instinct benefits of a 3,1 Inch TFT display (not as flat as iPhone which has a 3,5 Inch display), a standard exchangeable Li-Ion battery and a customizable user interface: background music while using other interfaces, Spring Radio with 150 stations, Sprint Music Store and Sprint TV.The Samsung engineering team has created an eye catching device with a new navigation interface: Samsung Instinct which seems a bit slow in operation and not very competitive with the multi-touch interface presented by iPhone.
The final comparison between iPhone and Samsung Instinct will have to wait until the Samsung phone will have a production release. Until then, one thing is certain: the next touch screen Samsung phones will use the Instinct interface.
