The Koreean phone manufacturer is the leader when it comes to the innovative features added to the newest handsets. The best example in this regard is the recently announced Samsung S5600. Beside the generous 2.8 Inch touchscreen using the TouchWiz interface, the device has a sleek and stylish design. The internal memory is limited to 80MB, however up to 8GB microSD cards can inserted in the card slot.
The shooter has 3 MP sensor and unfortunately does not include Samsung face recognition or auto-focus capabilities. However, the camera has a very interesting smile detection mode. What are most attended, are the 3G capabilities, using the HSDPA modem for up to 7.2 MB/s internet speed. Samsung S5600 is a worthy competitor for Lg Cookie, adding as a bonus the GPS capability. If the price will drop under 200 Euro, Samsung may even win the competition.
