Samsung SCH-M470
Samsung Electronics launched its first HSUPA smart phone ‘SCH-M470’ in Korea market. HSUPA (High-Speed Uplink Packet Access) is a 3G communication protocol that offers upload speeds up to 5.76 Mbit/s. This is a very significant feature since lots of user created content is done on mobile devices these days thus upload speeds need to improve.
HSUPA is the enhanced version of WCDMA, offering higher data communication speeds for uplink (5 times faster as WCDMA). Other feature highlights of the slider-style Samsung SCH-M470 include 2MP camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity, push email and the Google Search application. SCH-M470 has a price of about $600 in Korea

The adoption of the HSUPA technology by Samsung is one big step forward , however we would have wished for a decent screen to make the Internet sites distinguishable in the phone`s web browser. This issue will surely be addressed in future models that will benefit of HSUPA support.
