The Korean cell phones giant, Samsung, decided to present its fans a new dual CDMA and GSM model: SCH-W599 whicg benefits of 2 SIM cards slots plus a bundle of useful features. The device comes with a special stylus for its touchscreen display and also benefits of the handwriting recognition functionality.

Also a new and intriguing feature represent the directional controls placed around the scroll key, that are used in navigation in the phones menu. Samsung added to this handset a feature used in most of the Chinese phone brands: shortcuts used with the screen symbols.

Although W599 is a slider phone, it can be used when closed with the 2.4 inch QVGA display touchscreen and the stylus that comes in the sales package. On the features list we can find a 2 megapixels camera, MP3 playback support, media streaming, bluetooth and FM radio with 20 preset radio stations. The internal 34 Mb of memory can be expanded with a microSD card. All these features are packed in a small case and are available in China for $650.
