Sony Ericsson K850
In June Sony Ericsson revealed its hottest glamorous addition to the Cyber-shot line: the latest and very much greatest camera phone Cyber-shot K850. “For those users looking for a camera phone that delivers the picture quality you would expect from a digital camera, the Sony Ericsson K850 is certainly in the frame. This 5 megapixel Cyber-shot phone packs state-of-the-art digital camera features into a slim-design mobile phone.” - Sony Ericsson. The Sony Ericsson K850 handset will be available in luminous green and velvet blue color in Q4 2007 but no words on its price yet.
The phone was labeled a milestone product not only for the Cyber-shot family, but for the entire Sony Ericsson portfolio. It is clear why it scores high with its wealth of features using the latest technologies. K650i brings a bunch of novelties in design, navigation and functionality. While all the camera features are brilliant, for the average user, the mobile phone element has sacrificed usability. This is a massive leap on from the K810, however with a somehow confusing keypad layout and fiddly keys, it could raise some negative opinions.

Tech-talks
The quality 5 megapixel camera enhanced with camera wise hardware buttons, along with the brand new Media Center application, make the Sony Ericsson K850 a landmark product in the company portfolio. The new 5 megapixel auto-focus camera has a real xenon flash and a lens cover that automatically retracts when the camera is activated with the dedicated shutter button. Another camera related boon is the QVGA resolution, 30 frame per second video clip recording capability. Of course there is much more to the K850 than its camera functions. For starters, quad-band GSM/EDGE, but it also can connect to UMTS and HSDPA data networks on all three bands used throughout the world: 850MHz, 1900MHz, and 2100MHz.
Other network related goodies include the support for Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync over the air synchronization of data. Like most of the current Sony Ericsson devices, the K850 supports stereo music playback and ships with a wired stereo headset. MP3 and other formats of music files can be stored in the 40MB of internal memory or in an external memory card. Amazingly, the K850 supports both Memory Stick Micro (M2) cards as well as the industry standard microSD memory cards. This should make a lot of people happy.
