Sony Ericsson W300

Sony Ericsson W300i Walkman branded clamshell was released in Q2 2006 and due to the low price it became a viable alternative for a large variety of music loving users. The Walkman music hardware controls and the 256MB memory stick included in the sales package, turns it into a casual music player.

These days the phone comes free or almost free with a contract, so you might consider it if you`re looking for an attractive clamshell and all-around quality.

Tech-talks

The storage capacity is about 80 MP3s with the original 256MB memory card and also the W300i bundles a set of high quality stereo earphones which combine with high audio quality for an enjoyable music experience out of the box. The sales package also includes the USB cable and music management software.

Elsewhere functionality is nothing special, we mention the poor VGA camera and 4x zoom leading to an interpolated resolution of 1.3 megapixels; no stereo bluetooth and the screen is rather small. With 10 days of standby, affordable price, good phone features and connection capabilities, W300i is the capable feature flip phone you might be looking for.
