Continuing the line of Walkman branded music phones that was started by W800, in 2006 Sony Ericsson launched the W810 model to add some technological upgrades to the previous model. W810 has also a toned down design as opposed to the rave orange and white W800.

The best Walkman phone in 2006, w810 is a small and stylish candybar that adds not only an external makeover to the highly popular w800, but it adds all the best features that you might have wished for in W800, turning it into an appealing upgrade.

The sheer number of incremental upgrades list contains some new User Interface tweaks plus raised keys that replace the awkward W800 joystick, quad-band GSM/EDGE support for fast internet data transfers, new ergonomic keypad with space between each column and each row of keys, Fast Port connector serving as a charging port and for faster data transfer between phone - PC.

we would expected from W810 a Bluetooth stereo profile, unfortunately this is not included. Another issue seems to be the glitch music transfer software. This being said, W810 is a complete and versatile phone: 2 Megapixel auto-focus camera same as the W800, Walkman features and stereo headset for enhanced audio quality, easy to use email and web applications and least but not last the ability to run many third party Java applications like Opera Mini.
