Sony Ericsson W880

Sony Ericsson’s Walkman line of phones is well known and Sony Ericsson adds surprisingly new Walkman models to refresh this line. The W880 is one of those models that reveals not only a new 3d-like Menu, but is also the first Sony Ericsson super slim 3G phone.

At first glance there is one thing to be noticed about the compact W880: it is very thin, especially for a Sony Ericsson phone. As opposed to the other Walkman phones which are of course fantastic phones, W880 has a stainless steel casing and bundled in a 1 Gbyte memory card.

Tech-talks

W880 is one of the slimmest and lightest 3G phone available, however this comes with a price: the phone lacks a couple of features available on most of the Walkman phones: radio and ans autofocus flash camera. Also, a new thing for the Walkman series is the fiddly keypad with minuscule keys.

When it comes to W880 style is the keyword. A demanding user will not find everything he expects in a 3G phone, but W880 is primarily a music phone and audio quality is at its best with W880.
