GPS can jam you cell
Whether you use the mobile phone while you are driving (with or without a handsfree device) the chance of a car accident is higher due to the inattention caused by the cell phone. The solution could come from an innovative technology that scrambles the mobiles phones signal. This new technology uses the GPS positioning system to detect the area where the car is at a given moment.
After the car positioning is complete, a signal is sent towards the respective carrier to jam the calls, excluding the emergency calls. The system should be available starting with next year and will come as a monthly additional cell subscription in the range of 10$ - 20$. In order to encourage the drivers to use this technology, the use of this system will offer insurance discounts plus fuel discounts.
